Lynch pins for CK35 Loader?

Anyone else having trouble finding lynch pins?

I seem to have lost a lynch pin from one of my loader arms. Thinking this was a common item, I headed to the local hardware store for a replacement. Two days later and eight different stores, I still can't find one. Are these like a Kioti proprietary size or something?

I have gotten a couple from my local auto supply store. Had several sizes in stock. Seems they are a fairly common item and lots of people that are not tractor owners use them.

Not here Mousefield. These are either 3/8 inch or 9mm there about. There is not a single store around or even on line that sells this size. I have checked everywhere. I don't think they make that size in the U.S. The Kioti dealer has them for $2.10 each! I can maybe use 5/16". It's loose but should work.

Try TSC or Harbor Freight. The last time I was at TSC they had a bag of lynch pins for $2.00. Harbour freight had a box of 50 assorted sizes for something like $4 or $5.

Oh... I meant that it does not include the size I need.

I kept losing them. Wired a few closed. Then I've since replaced with bolts and nylon lock nuts. No problems since.

You could try asking one of the guys at the service desk if they can get you them in 3/8.

Well I guaged them and they are 9mm. You can't buy these anywhere in the U.S. 3/8" is to big and 5/16 is to small.

Hmmmm, 11/32"
How about reboring the pin holes to 3/8? Might be easier than trying to get 11/32 lynch pins.

That's a thought. Although 5/16 would probably be fine... Just a little sloppy.

Seeing as the lynch pins only keep the pivot pin from falling out, I guess a big washer and a 5/16 pin would be okay.
