lxx60 series recall

Sorry if this is a dupe thread. I've been really busy lately and haven't kept up reading the forum. If redundant, please delete the thread.

I got a call from my dealer today and they said there is a mandatory recall on a turbo hose on my l5460. They will come out sometime in the next couple weeks and replace it.

Just thought I'd post in case anyone else had a lxx60 turbo and had not heard about the recall.

The dealer tech came out and put in the new hose. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet but I saw the part itself. Was a rubber "adapter about 2 inches in diameter (slightly bigger on one end) and around 3 inches long that is held in by hose clamps. I'll take a pic later to show the exact location.

I guess it is only the early lxx60s with turbos (as well as some non tractor dpf engines if I understood correctly). The latest runs do not require the update. I was told one sympton of a bad hose was a sooting issue and the engine unable to regen.
