Hay Folks,
The 3 point hitch lever on my LX410 has always been a bit of problem. When the hitch arms are down and I want to lift it I have to move the lever to about the 5.5 position before it even begins to lift. Does anyone else have this problem?
It would be better if it started to lift somewhat before you use nearly all the movement available in the lever.
Just kind of wondering if anyone else has bumped into this.

I think that's normal. Moving the lever to the top will close a valve, which diverts hydraulic fluid and fills the lift cylinder. You get your height control by lowering the lever, which bleeds out fluid to the height you want. You should get a full lowering range of motion, with the link arms near the ground at the lowest point. You can also tweak the height a little with the pins on the low end of the lift arms.
