^^ agree to both. Tractor is going to the dealer to have the grapple installed and tires filled this week, hopefully they can fix these BH fitment issues... thanks all

Dealer should be able to tweak with porta power to give better fit.
Use my Enerpac maintenance kit porta power for fabrication and repair to adjust such things. Good to have some experience with this kind of adjustment.

They better be careful with a porta power on the tractor side of the subframe. Pretty easy to stretch the attaching bolts and/or pull the threads in the rear end housing.

If the dealer gave you the sub-frame installation manual check how the front of sub-frame is mounted. If a spacer, frame bracket or something is not correct on the front of the large sub-frame bracket this could throw the geometry on the rear hooks off.

I have basically the same set up on my 2005 B7800 and it fits fine but you have to be on a flat surface and get everything perfectly aligned because the tolerances are close. I built a special shed with a concrete floor for mine.
What Rick said about the 2 different backhoes rings true in what I have found in different parts of my tractor like the dif. lock and a front axle that broke while mowing. Kubota's quality control has really gone down hill from the old B7100&7200 that I've had.I've talked to other owners that swear they are outsourcing a lot to China, like everyone else, to stay competitive.

We agree the dealer needs to evaluate and fix.

Backhoes are outsourced to Tennessee.

Bottom of backhoe fits into hooks tight zero clearance. Top left mount is shifted way left of alignment pad and doesn't contact it by much. Top right mount fits nicely on alignment pad. More issues here than just opening up holes to let a pin slide in easily.

Don't have a BH77 but a BH90 with same type of mounting system. On mine the bottom mount fits snug. The top mounts are perfectly centered and contacts the alignment pads equally left right.

Personally I wouldn't allow any bending or opening up of holes. Either some type of assembly error or something's fabricated out of tollerances. If it's a fabrication error demand new and don't allow rework.

What are the alignment pads? Which pic? Are they the upper “bushings” attached to the subframe that the upper pins slide through?

Do you mean “top right” has shifted left? The 3rd pic is the right side of the tractor and there is no pin visible on the left, and that’s the side that does not want to drop in.
Thank u

Too much paint build up on the alignment pads can cause clearance and pin fit issues. My thinking is the top mounts clearance left and right sides should be equal after dropping into bottom hooks. Both should contact the pads equally.

On mine everything was machined so precise after dropping into the bottom mounts and pushing the backhoe against the top pads the pins slide in without having to bump the hydraulics further to align holes. When it was new I had to remove some paint.
