Having a few HST's and now gear drive (Hydraulic Shuttle), I don't miss the 'wine'. I believe all brands whine... Your car whines too. You just don't hear it.

I am not getting any black smoke or puff but my tractor is new.

And you wouldn't as the DPF catches all of that, I was just pointing out that with no the DPF you can see the smoke and that cold start seems to be to worst time for creating particulate. My own tractor that is used for snow removal is warmed up and then runs at 2500rpm for the next 6+ hours doing my route, I think that would be as good as it gets for a DPF equipped tractor
