Lugnuts what size?

Anyone know what size the heads are on the lugnuts? I thought they were 1" but I don't think my socket will go on there without a whack or two, and then get stuck. Maybe if I get some of the rust off?

Everything is metric, Go to Harbor Freight and get a set of Metric impact sockets.
