Just finished the 10 hour lube and noted the instructions also mentioned lubricating the linkage. Is WD40 an option for this task? Is it best to access these areas by lifting the seat? Any other areas to consider lubricating while on the subject?

Thanks in advance.

Many of us use WD-40 as a lubricant. It is not. It was designed as a Water Displacement.
I now use Super-Lube for most of my light duty lubricating.

Jim,
I have been all over my manual for my BX23 and haven't read about lubricating the linkage underneath. It does mention lubricating the FEl joystick linkage. Where did you read that in the manual. I would hate to be missing some of my maintenance. For me, I use tri-flo spray for the FEL linkage. It wont collect dirt like some of the other sprays.
