Well,,since I'm going over this board stiring up trouble tonight,just got to throw my 3 cents in here,,,,I use 40 weight nondetergent in trans and front end,,aw 32 in hydro,,15w40 in motor and injector pump,,plain old anti freeze,[never changed it],road grade fuel,this is what northern recommends,,I even called them up and asked them,[about the gear oil question].I got 250 hrs now,,through two winters,,no problems,knock on my head.I got a 254. I have read on the other chinese boards of every combination you can think of,,every kind of gear oil and motor oil and hydro oil,,,,,it shouldn't be that way,,but....,I do think aw 32 is 10 weight and universal is 20 weight,,,so for cold and for hot weather I think aw 32 is right choice,,[the hydro gets real hot in summer when running for long times] thinner should help there? thingy
