During operation downhill, the mower tends to coast. I have to release the pedal and depress again to get the mower moving forward once it coasts to a stop or near stop. It seems that the transmission doesn't engage when the mower slows back down to the speed relative to how far the pedal is depressed. Is this common for hydro's to operate in this fashion? The constant starting and stopping has grown quite annoying after only two mows.

I would have dealer take a look. My 1050 does not "coast' at all. It holds you back; never have to re-engage drive pedal.
