I got my LT1045 delivered on 4/3/06 from HD and I used it the first time on Saturday (4/15/06). I had used the tractor for 1 hour and I had to disengage the PTO so I could move something out of the lawn. When I engaged the PTO again, the belt that turns the blades came loose. My husband put it back on, but the next time I had to engage the PTO again, the belt came loose again. This happened a total of three times and I have used the tractor a little over 2 hours. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Are there any known issues with this model? I have HD's extended warranty and have asked for a new tractor but they are "looking into" it because they said they cannot take the mower back since it has had gas in it (according to state law? I am in Illinois).
I know CC has a warranty for the first 30 days on all belts and the like, but I have no way of getting this tractor to the nearest CC dealer, which is 35 miles from my house.
