LS240 3.9hrs F11 1221 error

It cleared after a restart, but dealer says they can't diagnose without putting it on a scanner.

I read that one user had the same issue and it was fixed with a software patch. Let us know how things go. I have a 240HE on order.

I saw this on a tbn post
F11 code is the sensors on the DPS not reading properly and sending the CPU false readings. Basically there is a patch for the software that must be installed. This will make the sensors communicate properly with the CPU.

I just had the same code, and it turned out to be the hand throttle lever. Either way you would need to have the dealer's computer to plug it into to diagnose it properly. Luckily, you're still under warranty.

the dealer came out, cleared the error, ran a regen, and that was it. We'll see what the future holds.
There were 3 ECU errors in the queue.

same error happened again today at 99 hours. Cleared with a restart, RPM was limited to 1500 during the error.

I had the same error on my XR4145 last fall. Turned out to be a faulty hand throttle. Dealer replaced it under warranty, and I have not had problems since.
