LS XR4046HC HST Cab $30500.00??

First off I am a new member, a new property owner, etc etc. So a Noob if you will.
Bought a little 10 acre Horse ranch and need a tractor.

Started at Kubota and best deal I could make on a L3560 HST cab was 37K
Then checked Kioti and best deal on a NX5010 HST cab was 33.5K

Massey 1736 HST Cab was 37.5K

Then found the LS Line, Think I like the XR4046HC HST cab But best price I could get quoted was 30.5K with block heater
I read the posts and see that down south or east people are getting them for 29K???

Montana just seems to be more expensive all around.

Any advice to a newbie?

Don't think you can go much cheaper unless you step down to an XR3037HC HST. The cab is what is getting you $$$ but since you're in Big Sky country it gets butt cold and I'd want one too

Yeah have to have a cab. Don't want to wear the snow I am moving. I have some hills on the property and it has been suggested to me to stay at 35hp at the PTO but only the LS has that on the models that I checked out

The 4046 is a great tractor and that is probably a fair price for your area. It does vary by location.

If the price is OK then I don't think you would be unhappy it. Hopefully you have a dealer near you if you need service etc. That's the other consideration other than price ... especially with a Tier 4 engine.

closest dealer is 120 miles away. But that is kind of routine here in MT. Dealer says they will service/warn at my property or transport it to the dealership free of charge if it needs to go in for anything major. But in all honesty Kubota and Kioti all said the same thing.

Lower prices you've seen may have been from last year or may have been cash price rather than financed price.
My XR3037HC works very well moving snow. I'm sure a 4046 could only be better.

I now just passed the 110 hour mark on my XR4046HC and have been very pleased with its performance. I priced out a similar spec'd Kubota Grand L but, it was about $7K higher and was missing many of the standard features that are free on the LS. As I recall, the only thing that the Kubota exceeded the LS was loader lift height. That has never been an issue for me. My price was a bit over $28k cash price. The $30.5k you mentioned might be the LS 0% financed price?

That is exactly what I found out too was set on getting a L3560 but it was 7 Grand higher and had a smaller engine and only 28 PTO HP.

And yes the price was quoted with their 84 month financing. 4K down and $387 a month at 5.75%

If I go through my own bank they will go up to 72 months with 20% down so $6100 down finance 24400.00 at 4.49% around $393 a month payment.

You might check out Ag Direct. Probably less than 4%.
