What do people think about the LS XR Series tractors I was thinking about getting 1 this summer. going to get LS XR4046H. going to be mowing fields getting fire wood plowing and other stuff.

I have the xr4046hc and I love mine also. we had the coldest winter in history here in Arkansas and I was out in it all year thanks to my cab. it made my tractor a year round machine.

I'm no tractor expert but just went over 100 hrs on mine. Really impressed with the LS brand. You didn't specify a cab model. My only advice is to shop for a simpler, Tier 3 motor, R4041H or R4047H before they are all gone.

I also like my xr3037hc a lot. Other than oil and fuel filters the rest are the same as the tier 3. The heat and a/c of cab models work great but if you don't need a cab you can save a lot. No problems so far but only have 20 hours on the clock.

doing more fel work than i thought so the h might have been better but for mowing i,m glad i have the gears
