PARTS FOR LANDTRAC

I have a Landtrac 470 with a broken transmission. I understand the Landtrac was built by LG and marketed by Long Agri-Business and now LS can supply parts, at least that's what a LS Dealer told me. Is that information correct?

I am trading this tractor to a family member and will buy the parts to fix the transmission. It has a shuttle and will not shift into 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th work fine. I have the parts manual with part numbers and understand the engine and transmission are Mitsubishi series SQX and that Mitsubishi parts will be cheaper than LS. Where do I go to find them?

LS can only supply Landtrac parts that cross over to current LS part numbers. Over the years, the part numbers have changed a few times. I have found a few parts through LS for Farmtrac and Landtrac tractors, but alot of them will no longer be available. I found some parts by doing a google search of the part numbers. There are a few places that specialize in Japanese tractor parts, so Mitsubishi parts shouldn't be a problem. Mitsubishi engines were pretty popular and used in lots of products. There are some salvage yards that may be able to help you with transmission parts and Sheffield Tractor sells Landtrac, Farmtrac, and Montana parts.
