LS XG 3037 shift fork

the shift fork on the 4wd on my XG 3037 is not working. The lever has no resistance. Does anyone hav want experience changing these? Will the tractor have to be split? Just trying to get infor before tackling this

My 4wd lever in on the floor behind my foot on the left brake side

My shift lever is on the console left side of the steering wheel - this is the one that will disable your tractor when the roll pin falls out I just had to tap mine back in the other day it worked its way out again. I duct taped it this time.

This is specifically for my 4wd. Everything operates as it should otherwise but it appears my shift fork on 4wd is out. I am wondering if I will have to split the tractor to repair this or can I remove another cover to access it. Again I can operate in 2wf but I can not shift in to 4 wd.
