LS WARRANTY

Well I cleaned the pan off again, ran it for awhile, it's not leaking from the crank seal, must just be seeping from the front pan gasket.

I tightened up the bolts a little.

I called LS two days ago, left voicemail, called today, left voicemail......

Told them I just want to ensure my dealer registered my tractor for the warranty.

STILL waiting on a return call.

Please share with us if and when they get back to you and what they say.
Before I bought my tractor I needed some info on the warranty and I was put off to a representatives voice mail and I never got a call back. I found out what I needed from another source. With all that said I love my tractor but these warranty questions and interesting.

I have a brand new LS MT125 tractor TLB. Do I have to register the tractor with LS? It seems everything I buy I need to register with the "factory" to start and validate the warranty. Also how would LS get ahold of owners for recalls, updates or other reasons that the factory may realize needs attention after the tractor is sold and deliver?
Thanks for checking out my post here and I look forward to the responses.

You should not have to register your tractor. Your dealer submits the info along with the "in-service" dates to LS. Your dealer should have provided you a Bill of Sale or invoice with the equipment serial numbers listed AND a copy of the completed LS Warranty Registration Card that they are required to submit to LS. This copy is your proof of registration. If you didn't receive these when you took delivery, then by all means, ask your dealer to provide these to you.

All of this should have been in a new owner's packet along with the operator manuals for the tractor and all implements.

Your dealer where purchased should have registered the tractor/ sale with LS. At least that is what my dealer did. I have not had any problems getting warranty parts from them (I live 500 miles from the nearest LS dealer) so they ship the parts for free.

Well I got a bill of sale with serial numbers of all the equipment. I got a copy of the warranty but I did not receiver a "Warranty Registration Card". I don't doubt that LS would honor this sale but I was just curious as there was nothing for me to do to activate this warranty.
Thanks for taking your time to respond here.

Lisa, just call your dealer and ask them to email you a scanned copy of the LS Warranty Card that they submitted to LS. I agree...I don't think you would have an issue, but always best to have all of the paperwork. Enjoy your 125!

Great advice and I'll do that today. I'll also report back on how it goes.
Thank's so much "alexsbuddy" for taking your time to weigh in here.

All I can say is I bought my tractor from the most responsive dealer I could have found. Four hours ago I sent Bruno's Powersport an email asking about the warranty certificate as "alexsbuddy" suggested and how the registration processed worked. Rachel my salesperson just responded with a copy of the certificate that she submitted through the LS system for me. She also explained that in the event of recall or factory "fixes" that LS would mail me a notice along with my dealer. I could not ask for more or better service from my dealer. Thank you gentlemen for your help here.

Aaron the LS service rep for TN called me today and informed me that my tractor is indeed part of the recall.

He said all dealers haven't been contacted yet but they are reaching out to them.

He informed me that my dealer was being contacted and that the work will be done before the end of the month.
