Yea I can sure do some checking. As far as the new fuel pump what you would be able to do is get a inline 12v fuel pump. The R3039 does have the electric fuel pump on it and it will work on your 47 cause it uses the same size fuel line. As far as the open station XR's they are going to have them available when all the R4041's are sold. They are getting pretty low on stock on them. The new boomer like you had seen will be the exact looking tractor. It will be the new model that will be replacing your 47. They are just doing a few changes to the length. The seat I have not looked at it very much. I will do some checking on the XR I have on the lot and see if it will bolt up to your 47.
.
Thanks! Much appreciated. What does the 47 use now to bring fuel from the tank? Just a vacuum? or gravity? How will I be able to control the proper flow on a new electronic fuel pump so that it gets the right amount of fuel? Our is that built into the injection system?

I understand that the part is not out yet, but based on current pricing for the current fuel tank for the 47, can you speculate as to the price I might have to pay for that new tank from the 46?

The 47 uses gravity flow to get the fuel to the inj pump. But with putting it below the filter you will need the electric pump to get the fuel up to the filter housing. By the looks of it the fuel tank alone will be around $200. With some bracket building it may fit. Im not 100% sure on the open station XR's specs.

That's actually less than I was thinking. And how much for the fuel pump?

Probably any 12v fuel pump, within reason, would be fine....maybe $50 or so. The smart bet would be to just borrow the specs from the lift pump LS uses, and add an inline pump that gives the correct range of PSI/GPM.

Sheesh....somebody needs to tell LS to hire me as their proofreader. The page on the K5055's LL5105 loader specs it with a "72" Busket".

I feel the same way. I'd love to edit their owner's manuals!!

It's not just the LS web site, most / many of the articles that I read on the web really need some corrections. Even many of the large popular sites and for that matter the news paper to. It just seem like they don't even bother to proof read anything any more. Now it's not that I am no scholar but if I can see incorrect grammar there is something wrong!:confused3:

Back 2011 I was very close to signing a deal on a new LS 3010 TLB - great price and great machine. Now looking back I wish I would have before choosing the John Deere. I like my John Deere and I was thinking for resell value reasons but in the end I believe the LS is a heavier built machine with better options.
