Also I forgot to mention that when letting the brake off you can just
do it in reverse. Push the petal to make it easier to release.

I'm onto that one.

My old Cub Cadet had an easy to reach catch on the dash, and it released by just kicking the pedal.

Getting down to the floor to reach the handle is the hard part. It doesnt seem to take much pressure to set mine. Getting it down is not as bad, I just put one finger on the button on the end and push it down. Its that last 3-4 inches of reach that I have to bend to get my hand around it to pull that gets my back. As for the clutch depression clip, I dont think Houdini could depress the clutch and reach that clip to swing it around the clutch pedal. Maybe a string tied on the clip would work.

This spring, I am for sure going to load my tires. $40-50 bucks per tire for antifreeze is not going to break the bank. I northern Louisiana where my Dad farmed, he used just straight water. The sometimes froze solid, but he didnt use them in the winter anyway. He said as long as the tire wasnt sweating on the outside when it warmed up after a freeze, it was oK to run. Those black tires setting in the sun thawed pretty quickly. I have pure water in my Yanmar tires and I dont think they have ever frozen but then I dont use it when it is below about 40F because it wont crank anyway without blowing hot air into the air breather. It doesnt have glow plugs.
Here in Northern VA I find that straight water is just too convenient not to deal with the potential freeze issue. Day/nite avg temps dont go below freezing until well into December - or later. Morning starts i make sure I can make the ice crackle with a firm push on the tire. If not I wait a bit. Then I start parking the tractor in the manure pile at nite. I have all 4 AGs loaded ~95% on the 7520 ... about a ton. No problems at all and I love the convenience if I need to drain or change ballast wt.

I thought about suggesting that, or maybe something a little more elaborate involving coat hanger wire. Not a problem for me on the S3010 (right now anyway...), while standing on the ground on the left side I can easily press down the clutch pedal with my right hand while flipping up the clip doohickey with my left.

While watching a show about the giant squid the other night, I thought, yeah, if I had arms like that giant squid, I could reach all those little clips and brake levers and all those switches that are way, way behind the seat. I have to turn sideways in the seat to reach the windshield wiper switch and some light switches up near the roof line and behind me. Lots of room on the dash for switches but they mounted them all on the cab frame.

Hey what happened to Lonetex and some photos of his new LS P7010 at work. He kind of faded away after he got his tractor. I guess he is working it hard. Time for some photos LT

With all the rain we've been having, I have been using mine to repair the roads and fill in ruts by back dragging

To be really honest, I have put my Tractor away because I don't want to get it Dirty. LOL. its real wet here right now, and the clouds are forming, so Snow anytime now. (be glad when it does Snow) I won't to try out this Heater.LOL.

I used my heater a few times, but in sunny weather, the sunlight heats you up pretty good even in 30 degree temps. I love that cab, but it is a lot more difficult with a cab to work the FEL and gauge distances and sometimes the glare on the glass is downright impossible to see. That said, I still wouldnt trade for one without a cab. Sometimes, for really finess stuff up against buildings etc, I will fire up the little Yanmar. I really would love to trade my 50 HP Yanmar for a little SCUT Kubota with TLB. That would be perfect companion for the LS.

Hi guys just wondering if you have been able to confirm the loader lift capabilities we are very close to dealing on a 7040C that uses the same loader as yours. One of our requirements is to lift 2500lb pallets with pallet forks. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Brent

FEL lift is 3600lbs, 3 pt is 6200lbs. hope this helps you should have no trouble lifting 2600lbs.

My loader will lift the rear wheels off the ground. It doesnt have the tires loaded but I usually have my box blade on back for counterweight. I have had it loaded with heaped up bucket full of Shale with no problem lifting. Traversing across hard dirt felt like it had steel tracks on the front as i could feel each bar tread as it hit the ground, but again, no problem lifting that up. I did tweak the relief setting on mine to get a little more curl pressure which I think is still a little lower than specified.

TUL01.

The 7040C is the much Larger Tractor we have been talking about, the Loader on that Tractor is Larger than the Loader on the 7010. so all round you should be in good shape, I would think your loader will pick up the 7010 and Dump it. LOL
