LS MT232 HE problem with brush cutter.

Took delivery yesterday and the brush cutter came up to about a 30 degree angle from the tail wheel which I thought was normal when I started it up and reversed it. Started forward with it and let the loader down few inches and the brush cutter came down to ground level. I have yet to be able to get it back to that 30 degree angle so I can go down the road with it. The three point hitch lever seems to only adjust the height once it is down. Don't beat me up too much I'm new at this but I work as a maintenance tech. Just not on tractors.
