Ls/kubota comparison

Have a Kubota B2400 that has served me well, but I'm considering an LS tractor at the moment. I'm thinking the comparable machine should be the 2023. Looking for more loader power, possibly heavier, but not too much larger physically.

Can anybody confirm this? I'm hoping to get to a drake sometime in the next month and want to be educated.

Don't know anything about the Kubota, but I just picked up an LS 2023H, heres some info about it you can compare for your Kubota:

23 HP (18 at the PTO)
Loader Lift Capacity 1270 lbs
3 Point Lift Capacity is 1433 lbs
Weight w/FEL 2600 lbs (without loaded tires)

It's about 100" long and 59" wide

It has two separate pedals as opposed to Kubotas single pedal

I just picked mine up and havent done anything but drive it around the garage so I can't speak to its abilities/durability....but so far Im happy. The LS tractors are pricing considerably lower than the other more known brands and seem to be every bit as capable.

I can't offer input on the model you're looking at, but can on general fit and finish. I started with a Kubota B9200, then a BX2200, then an L3400, and now an LS XR4046HC. I can say that the fit and finish on my LS is right there with the Kubotas I owned. Really a great tractor. It's still "young" at 28 hours, but solid and doing great.

I also have a new LS J2023 and it's comparable to the B series Kubota. It's a lot bigger than the BX series Kubota.

You get a lot more tractor for your money with LS and a much better warranty too.

To meet the specs of the LS 2023 you would need to go to the B2620 or B2920.
