LS has a five year warranty on their tractors.

lt190b: Aboyles is correct, a 5 year warranty which is 2 years bumper to bumper, I don't remember how many hours but more than most people will put on in several years, then there is an additional 3 year power train warranty for the total of 5 years.

I purchased the xr4046HC and really love it. I did ad the third remote for a grapple. I can pick up 2000 lb. rocks, mow, just about anything. The heating and A/c are really nice and the windows open so it is really comfortable. I am so glad I got the Hydro model, it is perfect for loader work, and everything for that matter. it is a pure pleasure to operate and now that I have some hours on it, everything is so ergonomic i don't have to reach for anything. It comes with a nice lighting setup so operating at night is easy. if you have anymore questions feel free to ask, I didn't have anyone to ask when i got mine and was really not sure. What are the differences on the XR4046H and the XR4046HC? Does the XR4046HC have metal frnders and hood or plastic? If its plastic is it rigid or very flexible? lt190b

the difference is the C is cab, and the fenders are a fiberglass? composite. they are hard but a little flexible.The hood is Metal and so is the cowling in front of the hood by the windshield. Feel free to ask any other questions, I didn't have anyone that had one when i bought it and that was hard for me.

Weren't the rear fenders on the 4047 metal?

The nice thing about the fenders is that they are two piece, if you back into something, break it or whatever, you don't have to replace the whole thing like you do on some of the NH models. The orange ones are real flexible tin, the plastic hood on the green ones looks like the wind will destroy the rear hinge in a heartbeat, so the metal LS hood with the hydraulic shocks is real nice

LS questions to all. Are the XRHC all the same tractor,same frame & transmission, just different hp? Does the hydrostat have a hi/low to split the 3 speeds? In one of the posts above there was mention of windows opening. Whitch ones? Thanks, lt190b

I don't know if they are the same frame & trans. The hydro has 3 ranges, L,M,H plus a neutral position. The door windows don't open but the back left & right side windows do swing out if needed. Also the rear window will swing up (the owners manual says it's an escape hatch).

Thanks. One thing i wish is that there where better pics on the LS website. I would think a Turbo at my working elevation (3,000 - 5,000 feet) would be a lot better than a naturally aspirated wouldn't it?

If you go to the Shibaura engine site, you can get all of the specs that you ever wanted on the engine use the engine number off of the LS brochure
