What's wrong with engaging the clutch at 2200rpm?

I have no issue with using the clutch when needed. I have only had to replace a clutch once in a tractor of mine and that was after over 30 years.

What's wrong with engaging the clutch at 2200rpm?

I grew up on a dairy farm and have over a million miles under my belt with a class A CDL. Slipping the clutch more than necessary goes against everything i was ever taught. My father would have whipped my butt for engaging a clutch anything over 800-900 rpm. Our Utility/loader tractor, a 4600 SU Ford had over 9000 hours on it. It ran 7 days a week 365 days a year as a manure tractor, Plowed snow, Cut hay, Ran the hayrake and the bale wagon. The only clutch replacement was due to a broken clutch disc spring at 7000 or so hours. Couldn't get it out of gear......

It sounds like you know how to use a clutch, but your tractor will take years of clutch abuse before you have to do anything to it. It will never see near the loads that a larger tractor or tractor-trailer will see.

its happened... there is a youtube video of a guy who no longer is able to get warranty work done. LS said they will send him the parts and he can do the work him self or figure out a way to get it done. But it was because he was bashing the dealer doing the work and not so much LS.

Was it the dealer who turned him away or LS? If LS is sending him parts, sounds like it's the dealer. And dealers are allowed to refuse service. If LS refuses warranty work, that's a breach of contract and they can be taken to court over it.

No problem with getting upset about a broken tractor. But owners need to not get too loud on social media about the dealers. Some dealers can refuse to do work. And do you want someone mad at you working on your tractor. (Like yelling at the cook about the food, sending it back and hoping he does not spit in it.) You can try to take it somewhere else, but a lot of dealers read the social media. You get a bad name, no one wants to deal with it. In my past, I have found that most people will try to help you if they can, but they don't want to get in the middle of a yelling match.
