I saw nothing about a seven year warranty. Talk to the dealer who sold you the tractor.

RK offers a 7 year warranty, but I don't think LS does.

LS General Warranty is 2 years or 750 hours. Power Train Warranty is 5 or 6 years and 1500 hours based on model:

My mistake it is 6 yrs on my XG3135 , just looking for info on whether our warranty is transferrable . I was thinking about trading for a XR4140 and was told by a dealer that my one year old tractor warranty goes away when i would trade it, all warranty? I have not been able to get a answer from LS yet.

RK offers a 7 year warranty, but I don't think LS does.

When you trade something in, you no longer have the item, so you no longer have the warranty period. You should have a new, full warranty on the new item.

I was told by my LS dealer that the warranty goes with the tractor, whatever is remaining. When I sold my mt125, the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty was done, but there was 4 years remaining on the power train.

When you trade something in, you no longer have the item, so you no longer have the warranty period. You should have a new, full warranty on the new item.

The problem is if the tractor carries no warranty when it is traded in the tractor will be worth less on trade in., Sounds like my dealer might be full of crap.

If you trade it in to the dealer, what difference does it make to you? Warranty or not will be up to whoever buys the used machine from the dealer.

Warranty follows the tractor. All and owner needs to show is a copy of the original sales sheet (which is what proves the start date of the warranty), and a picture of the ID plate and a picture the hour meter. That is it. Who has it or where it is makes no difference.

Come on diggin , again if the warenty cant be transferred and my dealer says it cant be transferred and i could not get a clear answer from LS Corp .
