Low idle rpm

Hello everyone! I just became a member, so please be patient with me!
I have a 1952ar which is mostly my snow plow tractor. I just installed a carburetor kit with the hopes of smoother running. I have it up and running but would like to have more rpm痴 because it feels like it is running slow when my throttle is fully engaged.
I知 looking forward to hearing about other vintage tractor problems and solutions.

Sounds like the throttle linkage needs to be adjusted. You can disconnect the throttle linkage and work the carb by hand to see if that is it. Also may need to adjust the carb mixture screws.

How many rpm are you trying to get? and what rpm do you have now at wot ??

I don't know how many RPM I'm looking for. i just feel like my tractor is not running quite fast enough. I don't have a gauge to indicate my rpm.

Those two-lungers don't run very high rpm.. less than 1000 rpm so you might want to get the tool to find out where you are at and where you want to go so you don't over-crank it.
