Lot Clearning - DIY or Pro ?

/ Lot Clearning - DIY or Pro ? #31
I got lucky, and learned to operate as a kid. Youtube videos do help some with the controls and some tips and tricks, but as already been said clearing is not as easy as it looks. Not matter the size of trees, it can be dangerous and damage equipment. No offense but I would not rent a machine that size to anyone without contractors insurance. KX080's new are $80g+. I would suggest you do it yourself, but with an old beater from a place like sunbelt, and to be safer with a novice, I would get a 160-210.

As I often tell my customers, if you calculate the cost of the liabilities to persons, property and machines, you will understand that hiring out is the cheapest option available. While the customer works and makes money, I take all of the risk and use my years of experience to make the job as clean as possible without damaging the save trees.

Work it yourself and get hurt = weeks or months of recuperation (lost wages) IF you survive the incident.
