Kubota L35
Running Kubota L35 ( 1400 hrs) Suddenly lost pressure to front end loader and 3pt hitch. Checked the short drive shaft to the pump in front, it seems fine. I know others may have experienced same problem. Anyone know what else I can check?

Have you checked the fluid levels?

Have you changed the fluid out?

Assuming the fluids check out, it sounds like your system might be hitting the pressure relief valve. What were you doing just before it quit? Is something on the 3pt too heavy? Did you bump a lever for the remote valve?

Let us know what you find.

Make sure your loader quick connects are not the problem. I would take them all off and reconnect them. If that is not the problem I am not sure.

Fluids have not been changed lately but it is full. No quick connect lines on an L35 front loader. Pressure relief valve, need to check that. Just had a brush cutter on the 3 pt, it was raised at the time of failure. Happened while tractor was running. Cutter suddenly dropped then lowered FEL and it would not function. May be the front Hydraulic pump.
Hoping an L35 expert might be familiar with this condition. I've seen other post on the L35 having same problem. But the only answer i have seen is check the front pump drive shaft. Which seems fine on mine.

That's scary it just dropped. Another reason you don't get under equipment with implements raised without appropriate blocking.

Hopefully someone can help you.

Yeah I forgot the L35 is more construction grade equipment so the loader can't be removed. It could be a lot of things, the pump, relief valve, one of the controls stuck open are a few thing that come to mind.

Trucksales, did you figure out the problem on your L35? I am no expert on L35 hydraulics, but I do know from experience there is a relationship between the three point system and the FEL. If I move my FEL with a significant load on the three point, the three point can lower while the loader is moving. I wonder if you suddenly had a large bypass in your three point cylinder, which would lead to the symptoms you describe. There must be a way to check the hydraulic integrity of the piston/seal in the three point. Again, I am no expert though, and I want to hear what you discovered. Thanks.

Don, I have not resolved the problem yet. I tried checking the front hydraulic pump. I may be in over my head as far as skill and knowledge. Plus I just have not pursued it like I should.
Thank you for your input.
