loss of a friend

sorry for your loss. Tried to get my dad to give up smoking. He never did. That's what got him too.
I have been to funerals of too many of my friends... We are all getting that age.
When I was younger, I never thought about stuff like aging. I have gotten to that age where at times, I think about my time here ending, leaving my children, grand children

Went to anther one today... didn't even know about when I posted 2 days ago...

I worked for both she and her husband one summer in high school... they had a Office Machine company with lots of school and government contracts keeping the typewriters in tip top shape.

Great people... the boss would come by the job once are twice a week and say you fellows are working hard... how about I take you to lunch... and it was always a nice place.

She was 92 and a WWII Marine Veteran and her husband a Navy Commander... they just don't make people like them today... a passing of a generation.
