Yes this is a possible problem, but it is also to some degree normal. There is bleed down in hydraulics. The bleed down should be very slow. You should not see it bleed down that quickly, perhaps overnight, but probably not in an hour. I would have it checked out, it might be within tolerance. I actually did a test on bleed down on both of my tractors and parked them with heavy implements on the 3pt hitches with the 3pt fully raised, at the same time I raised the front end loaders to 24" off the ground with the bottom of the bucket level. Both had bleed down to some extent. The FELs on both bled down but neither went all the way to the ground, the 3pt on one bled down about 30% over night, the other bled down about 5%. I didn't time the test, but both were parked for about 12 hours with heavy implements. Now I'm not sure if your BH uses a 3pt hydraulic pump or uses the tractor pump, but in either case I would be surprised to see the bleed down that fast. It will bleed down, but the speed at which yours is bleeding down seems faster than it should. I never tested bleed down with the Great Bend backhoe for the Kubota, so I really don't even know about that. Does your 3pt bleed down fast? Does your FEL bleed down fast? If both of those do not bleed down too fast then I suspect that the problem may not be much of a problem at all.

Sounds like the design could be a little better on that than it is, but I suspect some heavy rubber bumpers would work to prevent damage.
