Hey all, I was doing a little mowing and plowing with my DK50 and the draft control seemed to be a little jerky, when I checked it out I noticed that the 2 nuts at the draft cylinders were loose enough that the top link bracket can separate a hair from the cylinder and seems to be a bit loose. The problem is, the bolts spin freely and without knowing if they are supposed to be tight, I don’t know of this is normal or not. I’m thinking of stopping by a dealership and checking out a new one.

Those bolts just put some preload on the spring. Basically, you hold it with the flat head screw driver and tighten the nut with a wrench till it's just snug without any play.

Maybe this picture helps you understand a little bit better what's going on:

Thanks, I figured it was something like that but I didn’t want to screw something up without knowing what the normal tension was, I’ll try to tighten them a bit before I go back to work
