Loose clothing - dumb

For those who wear overalls you know that they have a hammer loop on the side. I wear overalls on a regular basis while working outside and one day while dismounting my skid steer (you should turn the engine off EVERY time) I stood up and stepped forward, simultaneously catching the forward/reverse lever in the hammer loop sending the skid steer into a right hand, bucking bull fit with me standing upright in the cab with no control until I figured out what the heck the problem was. Not fun and a little scary to say the least.

I had a similar thing happen to me one time before dad had a JD 970 with a backhoe attachment. I was using it on a hardend pile of clay before loading it with the loader. I have an older Ford hoe with a flip over seat to run the hoe. I really careful changing positions. I was in my coveralls with a hammer loop and when I got off the hammer loop hung the swing lever and I lost balance. I fell into the side of the bucket with a good sized slapp lol. It knocked all the breathe from me.
