Loose 3pt lever on L245

My tractor sat for about 3 months (I know, a sin) and when I went to use it, the 3 pt adj lever would not stay in place. If I did not have it against the stop nut, the lever would vibrate and start dropping the implement.

And ideas what would be causing this?

i dont know sorry but mine also drops by itself and i will be watching this post

I have an L2201DT and it's the same as the L245. I think there is a double nut on the shaft that the arm attaches to . Just loosen the outer , tighten the inner and then tighten the outer back up again. Very easy. It has been a while since I did this so it may be slightly different then I described , but it is very easy to fix. I'll look in the book this afternoon and be sure. I'll let you know if it's different then I described.
