Got a chance to measure the tires again before grading the driveway, used boards against the tire to get a more accurate measurement (just for curiosity sake).

Outside to outside is right at 70" 20201228_164748.jpeg

Centerline is ~52(using the mold line so may not be exactly accurate).20201228_165009.jpeg

There is definitely no extra room to go narrower and it matches the spec for centerline.20201228_164828.jpeg20201228_164835.jpeg

Wheel setting (don't mind the pink lol, I still need to clean them up!20201228_164900.jpeg

Hopefully this will help someone in the future, really wish you could find published info for this somewhere.

If you have the lever for the PTO switch there is no pressure adjustment but there may be a cable adjustment to ensure the PTO is fully engaged.

It's still a hydraulically actuated clutch, the earlier models just used a mechanical spool to activate the clutch pack rather the an electric solinoid like on the later models.

I have a workshop manual coming, if the mail can actually get it here.
Luckily this tractor saw little/no pto work so hopefully everything is still in pretty good shape even if the pressure is low.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew there was a cable involved but I didn't know it was still a hydraulic clutch. Definitely take the time to check the hydraulic pressure. with an HST transmission the pressure setting for the clutch engagement is higher and it doesn't take many hours to scrap the clutch. I bought mine used with 500hrs on it and my pressure was below spec when I checked it.

Thanks, I read that thread while looking for the pressure specs. I have a workshop manual on order, but due to the post offices current shipping problems it seems to be stuck in Texas with no movement for the past week+ so I'm not very optimistic it'll be here any time soon.

Hopefully I'll have some time off next week and will be able to get started on the 800hr service, figured I'd do the pressure checks then.
