Looking to buy new trade old

I'm loving the financing offers on tractors now. That's the only reason for going new
New is not better. DEF, limp mode, and the computer gadgets all are EXPENSIVE to fix.
Often in the $1,000s of dollars and not having the machine for weeks or several months!

Your passed-downed machine is more valuable than a new one.

Honestly .. I think you should keep the old one and make the decision to sell separate of the decision to buy something else.
a lot of history and the $$ gain is pennies.

Besides snow what do you want to do with the machine?
what type of snow plowing are you doing? driveway, long road ?

have you considered a skid steer or other option beside a TLB?

You can still buy a newer one if you want, but plenty of snow is moved with old equipment and age no matter when it gets stuck. your Koti option isn't much difference in HP and depending on how it is measured and drive options on the tractor might be about the same performance... So New warm and out 20+K or basically free.

Snow removal isn't about HP, it's about traction you mention cab so I get that aspect, but I a have plowed plenty of snow in an open rops machine. "granted I was wearing a heated jacket and pants from motorcycle gear" but you have options... plenty of aftermarket cabs options.

I recently acquired my 90 year old father's Kabota L235 tractor. It's has a bucket and a box blade. The tractor has been well maintained and always garaged. It has 802 hours on it. I'll be looking for a similar sized tractor but with a cab for snow removal. So that brings up a few questions.
1. What is a compatible tractor model?
2. What's my tractor worth?
3. Sell outright, someone would be getting a great tractor, or trade?

My dad told me at the last service appointment they offered him what he paid for it towards a new one
Love to buy it. It is the toughest tractor I've ever owned. I had that very model for many years. My son now has it in Alaska. it has 3 times the hours or more. I now live in the lower 48. What do you want for it?
