Does it have power steering option? They have a sturdy frame and loader but with a full bucket a bear to steer. I had an L185 500 hrs with a loader and BH I restored - all new hoses, hyd cylinder rebuilt, and down to frame and traded it to a contractor to build my barn (value about $9K in 2000)

You could enclose the ROPS frame and get a rear blade and use it for snow too. But value wise I would think $5K range maybe more.

Actually, looking at your picture again, that existing box blade looks like it maybe a bit beefier than a typical light duty, TSC type 60" box blade, and i would definitely keep it.

My CK2610, I kept my 72" Frontier BB, nit really expecting it to pull it, but I'm glad I did. It actually handles it pretty well, in my soils. It's certainly a bit too big, but 100% usable. Yours looks too be 60" just based on the ammount sticking out to the sides of the L235, and that would be about perfect for one of the 25hp compact tractors.

I like my Kioti, but equivalent in Kubota would be the L2502; Massey 1825E (that's a bit bare bones for my taste). I wasn't i the market for cabs, so I didn't really pay attention to what smaller models offer them though. It might be worth looking at the 30/35hp models in the same body size, with the added weight and power draw of the cab? Not saying you should move up in power, but atleast see what the added cost is. I think i could have moved from 25 to 35hp for $3,500ish, if i remember right.

Wait a second. If the cash price is lower than financed, then you are not getting a lower rate, its just figured into the selling price. So, get your 'financed' price from them, then say, "What's the cash price?", then do the math.
I'm not saying it's a deal breaker, just know what you are really getting.

Used tractors in reasonable shape go quickly, so you might want to FB or Craigslist it. My buddy was looking hard for one during the summer....all were junk, so he bought a Bad Boy 25horse new. He would have jumped on a Kubota L235 for $5K.

I just googled the 2620 SEH and 3520SEH with cab and something seems off the 2620 is more expensive than the 3520. The 2620 is 28,200 the 3520 is 24200

That CK2620SE cab price seems about right, but the Ck3520, something is off. It's either not including the cab in the price, or a loader, or something.

Ck3520SE Cab, should be $35,000 or so. Now, if you told me you found one at $33,500, I wouldn't be shocked, but $24k? Something is off with that price

The condition of your father's Kubota is impeccable, and the hours are so low. It may be worth selling private sale, just because depending on your location this could be a $6-7k tractor. Here in Maine it would sell for that, easily enough.

Personally, I'd save a bunch of money and either build or have someone build a cab for your father's Kubota. Old diesels like that are far more dependable than any newer one with all the electronics they are loaded with these days.
