Looking to buy a ym2610

I'm trying out a Hinomoto E222, but I will probable take it back for a ym2610, what about parts and the tractor, good,bad parts easy to get,any advice is welcome. Thanks Robert

Welcome to TBN. just my opinion. I think parts supplies are better for yanmars.There are alot of yanmars out there.

Well , you are in Yanmar country. I can think of 6 importers in North / Central Alabama. You should have plenty to pick ftom.

Thanks everybody for the advice, I bought the 2610, I have to get the PTO shaft changed, its to short, will get that done tomorrow, can't wait to try it out.........got to change my user name.LOL...........Thanks again

Wow, that's weird. How is the PTO shaft too short? Broken or cut off?

Hi Mark, I might have called it by the wrong name, I was referring to the shaft from the bush hog to the tractor, I had also bought a 5 foot bush hog and I now understand that the 2610 will pull a 6 foot, I think I understood that the shaft was for a 4 foot hog????, /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I also think the hinomoto arms are shorter than the yanmar, I think they gave me a shorter one for the hinomoto. anyway I got the right one and still haven't got to try out the 2610. maybe time will let me this week.Thanks again Robert
