I saw an ad recently for The Bagster, a very heavy duty and large "trash" bag that is dropped off at your site or home for you to fill up with household debris, appliances... Once filled The Bagster service comes and removes it for disposal. I can't find that they sell The Bagster.

The ad gave me the idea to look for a similar very heavy duty and large bag that would fit in my Tacoma bed to be filled with whatever (mulch, sand, gravel...). The bag would have fittings that allow me to lift it from the bed with my FEL.

Anyone know of such a product?

Lots of stuff comes in those heavy bags with straps for lifting with a crane. We get blasting grit, catalyst, etc on construction projects in them and they are generally thrown in the dumpster when empty. A place my brother in law gets cow feed has a heavy woven plastic bag that he fills with ground corn, hay and mineral supplements. He charges $50 deposit so the bag must not cost more than that. I have no idea where to buy them new.

The bags I see are not like the Home Depot bags. The ones I see are basically square with heavy strapping sewn in and basically look like a giant shopping bag with handles. They hold over a ton of material.

We receive bags like that with potatoes occasionally. The ones we have are like the others described... they are a canvas type material with lifting loops sewn in. The loops go over a set of forks. The bags we get easily hold 2,000 lbs. or more. I still can't help you since I don't know where our supplier buys them. Check with farm stores, feed companies, etc.

I see them on CL from time to time... but they arnt cheep (like $50 each or something)

you might as well look for those totes in the metal frames and use those. (cut the top off the plastic tub.)
