The red, blue, green, and orange tractors are nice but in my opinion you are paying extra for the paint. There are many good tractors out there that have more standards, which are costly options on the well known brands, for less money and longer warranty.
Just take your time and go drive the different models. You may find you like the way one tractor feels over others. While driving a model you think meets your needs, make sure if you want a front end loader, the one you drive also has that option installed. You may find you have a better view of the bucket on one brand over another for instance. Don't rule out the lesser known brands, you may be able to purchase a bigger machine for the same money as a smaller well known brand.
All tractors will break down at some point so don't forget about dealer service.
And finally no one has mentioned TYM tractors in case there is a dealer in your area for them. They have a good balance of quality, affordability, and standard options.
