Price Check Looking for Pricing - 4210

Folks -

I have a good friend in Virginia who is looking for a reputable dealer and reasonable pricing on:

JD 4210
- HST
- 60" Midmount Mower
- Turf Tires

He would also like to get a package price on a JD Loader/HD Bucket w/ replacement cutting edge to go along with the unit. Depending upon price, he would either take it WITH the 4210 or separately.

Can anyone help? Both by providing a price and/or a dealer in the nearby Virginia area?

He lives in Gainesville - which is near Bull Run (as I understand). I've convinced him to leave the idea of a Kubota behind - given that I can hook him up with the right dealer and some foresight on pricing. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm in Berryville which is just East of Winchester and 20 miles west of Leesburg. Your friend is just off I-66 and is about 1 hour from this area. The predominent JD dealer here is Carlyle and Anderson. They have locations in Winchester VA, Hagarstown MD and Purcelville VA which is just outside Leesburg on RT-7. Thats where I settled as far as finding a good person who was helpful. His name is "Ham" and his email is ham@carlyleandanderson.com. (I haven't bought yet, but am close enough to taste it!) The Purcelville location is brand new and pretty large with a good inventory. All three locations swap inventory as needed. The other option based on his location is to go South or West of I-66 and look at dealers in Fredericksburg or Warrenton. These areas are more rural and may have a larger dealer network then the Northern tip of VA. I don't know what your friends mentality is on pricing, but you'll find a variety of opinions in past threads here about buying from the local guy vs shopping to get the absolute best price. Personally for the price range i'm looking in I'm going to try to find a good price. If it's the local guy, or he comes close enough, then great. If someone else will deliver the identical set-up right to my driveway for thousands less, well then.............
