Mine didn't. Although he did know about the seat recall issue, which he had already done before I ever went to look at them on the lot.

I haven't tried it out, but my dealer told me Kubota solved the problem with the BX2230/BX23 seatbelt (every time you sit on the seat, the seat belt harness slides under the seat, so you have to get back up off the seat, pull it up and then sit back down, or you have to get on the tractor, remain in a standing position, pull the harness outward, hang onto the seatbelt, and then sit down. Also, the way the thing locks means that every once in a while, you have to take it off, pull it over, and re-attach it, or you will have a bowel obstruction on your hands. None of this is major, but its a design flaw I have to be reminded of every time I hoist myself up onto the tractor (its also enough of a hassle that, if I weren't a little paranoid about getting hurt, would certainly discourage regular seatbelt use).
which I think is a fair deal.mike_wa said:I'd like to thank each and everyone of you. Your input has been top notch and very useful providing me with some good perspective. I think that within the next 30-60 days I will be pulling the trigger on a BX24 unless the dealer comes up with a very slightly used BX23. He's only asking $15,500.00 for one (BX24) which I think is a fair deal.
Thanks again folks, I really do appreciate your comments. If anyone else has anything to add, please feel free to do so.
Thanks again,
Mike
They look like tooth picks on the BX24 compared to the BX23.rdsaustintx said:I don't buy much advantage in internal hoses on the implements. Yes they are better protected, but they are also much harder to replace. Look at the loader and backhoe controls. They are beefier on the 23.

Found that out yesterday when my BX 23 wouldn't start.mscott said:I've had my BX23 almost 2 years and 300 hours of almost trouble free use. The bracket broke and the safety switches are a royal pain but over all i'd say its a well thought out machine. The things I like better about the BX23 are the time tested engine. Not the same in the BX24. Metal hood and fenders and the ATV like bar tires. Things I like better about the BX24 are the curved loader and backhoe and maybe the tach but i've heard not so good reviews on it so i'll just stick with my tiny tach works great. If the BX23 had been out for awhile when I bought mine i'd go with a used one with about a hundred or so hours and save the 3 to 4 thousand less that a almost new BX23 can be had for now. A 100 hours on a BX is like a ride to grandmas house in the new car. Ain't really gonna hurt it.
