I have run up just over 300hrs on my GR 2100 with no problem's other than snapping glide steer cables, which I now have under control by converting to the later model cables which change direction.
I have recently started reading the horror stories about transmission failures on this model and as such have started to consider upgrading to the newer GR2120.
My question is simple, to those that own or have owned the GR 2100 how many hours do you have on them and have you had any problem's ??. I'm trying to determine if I'm worrying about nothing
Any feedback would be a great help

I've only got 8 hrs or so on mine. It's fantastic on the hills. My Deere 425 would slide down sideways if the grass was damp, but the GR is very sure footed - but you already know that.

I did have one surprising problem a few hrs ago when the headlamp wiring sagged onto the muffler and melted. The dealer is still trying to get some word from Kubota on what the long-term fix is. This may be a generic issue with this machine.
