Price Check Looking for a pricing guide

Hello,

I am thinking about selling my John Deer 3038 with front end loader and finish mower. But I am not sure what its worth.

I bought it 2 1/2yrs ago and it has about 200hrs on it. It has some dents and scratches on the loader but overall it is in excellent condition.

I paid around 22k for it.

Can anyone tell me what a fair price would be to ask for this tractor.

My goal would be for at least 15k.

I forgot to mention it is 4x4 with hydrostatic drive.

I suggest that you go to www.tractorhouse.com then search for your tractor model. A lot of dealers around the country advertise their used tractors there. If you read the descriptions and what is included with the tractors offered, you should find something comparable. remember that the prices listed are "asking" prices and may be a bit higher than what the tractors will actually sell for.

That should give you a ball park idea, anyway.

Another suggestion would be to go to a tractor auction and see what they are really selling for. Here's the link to a big one: Brinkley Auctions Inc.
If you're anywhere close, it's worth going, just to look.
