I found a tc40 with less than 200hrs on it, it does appear faded from sitting outside. Would this scare you away with such low hours and the fade?

No, they are great machines. As long as it runs good and operates you should be fine. The fenders do like to crack and fade on these. I had one for 20 years and never had any major issues with it. I was also hard on it.

No, wouldn’t scare me in the least. They’re designed to get through inclement weather, UV, rain, and snow. Mine is open station so I keep in barn but during summer it spends a lot of time outside. [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] hours is very low and likely a great buy since many people will be affected by the cosmetic issue(s).

Monetarily the faded plastic / paint is a benefit to you as a buyer. I certainly wouldn't worry about it, although I WOULD check the transmission fluid and fuel for water intrusion being it has been stored outside.
