Looking at a 4100

Looked at a 1999 4100 4x4 with 771 hours on it with a front snow blower and a 60 inch mid mount mower deck. It starts right up has a hydro tranny that worked fine, the seat is in rough shape and the hood is dull from mowing under low branches. Also the fenders are rusty from blowing the salty snow plowed off the streets onto a long city sidewalk.
The steering is really smooth, the front tires are pretty worn but the rears look pretty good, it has turf tires on it. Owner said the computer went out on it, Deere dealer tested all the electrical and replaced the computer did not know why it went out. There is a two year warranty on new computer it sounds like he would sell it for about $5500.00. What do you think deal or no deal?

The price is right.
I don't think it will lose much value if you want to trade up later.
It is a smaller frame from the 4200, 4300, 4400.
Japanese Yanmar painted green for Deere. They were good tractors.
Look around at other sizes to make comparisons.
