Long 445 Hydraulic Lifrt not operating

In attempting to mow very high pasture weeds, ran right side into a washed out hole. Front wheel dropped hard (rear of shredder probably flew up, then dropped), then bounced out (bent front wheel) then rear wheel dropped in hard pushing hydraulic lift arms up. Now the lift doesn't operate. With shredder off of tractor and engine running, I can lift the arms to the top, then they slowly drop when let go. Could the piston be stuck in the lower position? All comments appreciated.
