Morning "lingerers" at the fast food joints, lol! One saturday morning, I picked up my Amish farrier who had been up late because he had been at an auction. He asked if I would mind stopping at the local gas station/coffee joint/microwave breakfast joint so he could grab a sausage samdwich and a coffee, again lol! I accompanied him in and bought him breakfast and a coffee for myself.

I pretty much blew my swig of coffee when we got back in my car to leave and he pointed out the group of men sitting around. He said "that's the dead peter club".

Funny and on topic comic in the latest New Yorker (Don't judge me). It is in a mildly crowded coffee shop with people working at different tables. The women behind the counter is telling a customer "The coffee is free, but we have started charging rent for the tables".
