I like the length of the lift. You I am guessing it could be used as a feed table for smaller stuff. May need out riggers next if you get into bigger pieces though.

Just behind the lift table you can see the leg,, It's a piece of 2" rigid conduit..

You will LOVE the lifter on your splitter. I built one similar and used a 3" x 8" stroke cyllinder. This thing has lifted tree trunks that I can hardly roll. I did a Mod to it recently that lets the bottom square fold up for easier transportation. I burn over a dozen cords per year and the lift makes it tolerable. Enjoy.

12 cords We only go through 4 to 5 cord a winter,, Do you have an outdoor boiler ???
