Log splitter for Kubota RTV

Does anybody know if it feasible to consider a log splitter for the rear of a 900 Kubota RTV, verses just buying one

What's the price difference? I paid $1200 for my 27 ton Champion and it's been great!

The hydraulic flow on a Kubby RTV isn't nearly enough to power a splitter in the first place plus you'd need outlets and I don't believe the RTV comes with outlets anyway. Just buy a splitter and tote it around with your Kubby, you'll be a lot happier that way.

I’d recommend getting a standalone log splitter if you plan on using it regularly. I’ve found that they’re more powerful and do a better job overall. I tried mounting one on the back of my RTV once, but it wasn’t as efficient and was a hassle to maintain. Standalone models are easier to work with and replace if needed.

For occasional use you can rent a tow behind splitter from HD

I considered a 3-point splitter for my Kubota M6040. But my conditions indicated that a stand alone splitter would be better. I use my tractor and grapple to pick and move downed trees. The splitter attached to the 3-point would have been a hindrance to getting around in my trees.

I use the Kubota RTV to drive the splitter into position and the tractor at the discharge table so I can push the splits into the bucket. Usually I drive it into the barn when done
