Lodge & Shipley Choremaster - need info

I just got a Lodge & Shipley Choremaster with a Briggs engine. The engine looks to be a 1949, per the Model, Type, and Serial numbers. BUT, I can't find out from the Choremaster's serial number what year this is? It's a one-wheeler and I have some implements - everything is original. Thanks!

There is a Chormaster group on Yahoo. I joined it a couple months ago, but just been there a couple of times. They may be able to help you. Seems there is some serial number info there...
