This is a long shot, but I just found a tax receipt with the Model, year, and serial numbers. :)

The tractor was originally in Scarborough, ME and sold in the 1980s. My grandfather was the original owner.

1954 Allis Chalmers CA
Engine#: CE186670PA
Serial#: CA31433
Type: Tricycle

Would be interested in just seeing again or buying.

Good luck with that search.

I went to PA and brought about 25 B, C and CA tractors to Fl.
Your Grandpa's CA could be anywhere if it still exists!

Thanks for the tip! I'll start cross posting on other Allis Chalmers and antique tractor groups, maybe I'll get a nibble somewhere. :)

Good luck finding it! If I can locate the serial number listing for the ones I had plus the ones I still have, I will check it!

I would think it is probably in the state still, perhaps within a 100 mile radius of your grandpa's farm

Guess it's not mine. Mine is a 55 wide front. Good luck, hope you can find it. That would be cool.

Yes, it certainly would.

Somebody recently has been advertising to find a rifle they sold in the 1960's. I can't imagine how that will work out for them.
