"locking" the counter weight

Hello again

I'm just wondering is there anyway I can lock the counter weight on a MF 165 ?

When ever I change over from the three point linkage/lift to the loader the counter weight starts dropping and is flat on the ground before ya know it....

Is there some way I could keep the counter weight up and work away with the loader?

Asuming that your counter weight is three pointed mounted, you could use draw bar stays or even a chain set up similar to limiter chains.
